Week 3: FeedMyInbox

I have subscibed to Manukau Top 5 goodies, cuisine recipes and TVNZ Breakfast and found it easy to use. However, I am finding that all the emails coming through are overwhelming as you want to read everything and do not have the time!!!!
Will I recommend this site to our customers? If they ask of course I would tell them about it as it is easy to use, but I do not think our customers come into our libraries for this sort of information. Please don't all yell at me for making this statement... I am probably wrong!!!

  1. Oohh, you've changed your background! I heart it much :) LOL@probably wrong. There isn't, I don't think, a right or wrong. If a customer comes in and it's useful then YAY. And if they don't, no harm no foul and you're still one up because you're aware of sites like these. And yes, I agree - finding time to catch up on feeds is another matter entirely hah. I use a bookmark app called Instapaper and spend my bus rides catching up on whatever I've bookmarked but I'm starting to feel anxious if I can't keep up. Which kinda defeats the purpose of it, methinks. I need to be more aggressive about weeding out the rubbishy stuff :)
